What Is Facial Rejuvenation?

Facial rejuvenation is about restoring your youthful appearance. Maintaining and enhancing your natural beauty. There are two main ways to achieve this: the surgical aspect or non-surgical. 

Non-surgical treatments are increasing in popularity because of the quicker recovery times, as well as there being fewer risks involved. Dermal Fillers work in a slightly different way, made up of hyaluronic acid, which is something our bodies naturally produce. As we age we lose volume and elasticity in our face, and there’s a loss of bone structure. Dermal Fillers can help replace that loss by adding volume to our face or areas that may require it. The most common being the lips, mid-face, and jaw. Lasting for between 9 - 12 months with minimal side effects and little to no downtime, fillers are another very popular option.

3. Profhilo

Finally, there is Profhilo, which is a newer treatment, although it has been around for several years now. This is pure hyaluronic acid but it's different from dermal fillers because of the way it's made. It's thought to be like an injectable biome for the face because unlike anti-wrinkle treatment and dermal fillers, it's more preventative. It’s used for skin rejuvenation as opposed to targeting wrinkles or providing volume to the face. 

Profhilo stimulates the skin to produce elastin and collagen and by doing so can target very fine lines and hydrate the skin giving it a natural glow.

It is mainly used for facial rejuvenation but is also used to treat the neck, the back of the hands, and the knees. Another quick treatment, which usually consists of 5 injections on either side of the face. Initially, you would need two treatments about one month apart, then once every 4 - 6 months for maintenance. This a very subtle look which is popular with those aged 30 looking to maintain their youthful appearance with a preventative treatment.
